Scarlet Ibis

This scarlet ibis was in the Rainforest Pyramid at the Moody Gardens in Galveston, Texas. Its color is quite startling against the green backdrop.

This is a simulated rainforest in a very large glass pyramid. I highly recommend a visit here if you enjoy tropical plants, birds, fish and butterflies.
