Corkscrew canyon is another name for Antelope Canyon.
This photo shows you how it got that name.
Antelope Canyon is located on Navajo land a short distance from Page,
Arizona. To get there, you must go with a tour company. You can either
take a jeep tour, where they just
drop you off and pick you up at a designated time, or you can take a tour
led by a photographer. Either way, it is quite an experience.
This is not a place you want to visit if it is raining. A large river
bed leads into and out of the canyon. Since the canyon is very narrow, the
water can get quite high very rapidly.
