Midday Shadows

This is a good example of how the light changes within the canyon. In most of my photographs, the predominant color is gold. In this one, it is pink tones.

This is truly a magic light show. I went into the canyon about 8:30 a.m. and left around 1:30 p.m. I really recommend spending several hours there as the light causes continuous changes in the canyon. You will not be bored.

My photos of Antelope Canyon are a bit misleading as you never see any people in them. In reality, there were many people, some who just passed through quickly and photographers who stayed for hours. We took turns being on guard and keeping people out of the way when someone was ready to shoot. That may be a problem in the summer if there are lots more people.
